Pros

1.Nice and fancy office 2. Office lunches, great coffee machine in Vaughan office

Cons

1. Partners are selfish, doesn't care for their employees 2. No recognition, pay is very less for the amount of crazy hours you work 3. No job security, they can lay off whenever they want and whoever they want. 4. Lot of politics, if you can't be on the partner's good books you won't progress. 5. No recognition on the basis of performance, employees need to be partner's pet. 6. Promotion is very slow, not on the basis of performance. They make you slog in the same level for years. 7. Employees are not helpful 8. Lot of racism and groupism in the departments 9. Unorganized supervisors and HRs. You will not receive any help whatsoever. 10. Benefits are the worst compared to their competitors. No fitness reimbursement, no work phone. 11. Few managers and senior managers are always ready to complain how much ever you try to please them. 12. Downtown office is very old and dirty, people are very cold and unresponsive. Not a friendly environment at all.

Pros

Great people, decent pay, good benefits. Growth opportunity if you are willing to put forth the effort, time, and engagement.

Cons

long hours, lack of leverage, people aren't number one so it shows from time to time. Overall I'd recommend it to work there, but if it's between KPMG and a company that has a people first mentality, I'd go with the second option.

Pros

Could be a good learning place, good to have on resume

Cons

aside from the high stress levels, you are required to do a lot of outside extra curricular activities that play a role in your review, so its like one does one.... you know... have time for their own personal life? just strange culture. factor in how much overtime you work and you're basically working minimum wage.
