Pros

Recognizable brand Intelligent colleagues Hard workers

Cons

Weak talent development Want to invest little into your training and expect you to "hit the ground running" Lots of office politics and catering to senior staff at the expense of good juniors Can spend lots of time on the bench doing busy work due to lack of projects Most projects are change management heavy Don't win true HR work

Pros

Corporate events are usually pretty fun and they allow open bars. Good for resume building if you want to jump into industry.

Cons

Work life balance is absolutely terrible. They have no issue changing your schedule as they like. When you work there you are basically property of the firm

Pros

There is no shortage of work.

Cons

Always understaffed. KPMG does not care about its employees- they are only concerned with profits for those at the top of the structure. They also do not provide broad experience. You get locked into a specific service line and it is difficult to find rotations in different practices.
