Pros

Good work-life balance, where office is almost empty by 5:30 PM. Active Social Club, with a good number of activities such as parties and outdoor events. Good diversity in people, especially in IT Advisory. Easy-going office environment. Annual leave of 5 weeks for 'Manager' and up. Right place if you can generate Business and get new Clients.

Cons

Lack of relevant or appropriate work. Highly-skilled people doing low-level jobs or pushed towards generating revenue (Business Development). High turnover at all levels and exits almost on a weekly basis. People working in silos. Upper Management mainly consists of Accountants, and people from STEM or MBA background are not visible. Salary is 15%-30% less than what market pays and hikes (annual or promotions) is in the range of 1%-5% and sometimes nil. Not the right place if you are technology focused or are looking to hone your skills in Project Management or as a Consultant. Professionals from bigger economies would find scale of projects to be shallow or 'easy/not challenging'. Forget about large-scale projects or projects spanning multiple time-zones.

Pros

The salary is competetive, that is a plus, and if you manage to get out in time with good references, this might be helpful for your future career outside the firm.

Cons

As mentioned, partners are above everyone, and if you show them their respect (no matter if they are right or wrong), you might have a fair chance to progress. But don't even try to challenge the processes or their opinions, as this will seriously hurt you and your career. Also, the company is extremely political, which affects everyone, the teams and also some partners who have not positioned themselves well.

Pros

- Young Environment - Great exposure to different companies/business - Good opportunity to learn a lot, not only about accounting - Long holidays

Cons

- very understuffed teams - Pay not correlated to the responsibilities and effort demanded - Absurd procedures and policies - A lot of grunt/frustrating work - No room for creativity/lateral thinking - No respect for people unless they are manager/partners - No incentives to treat well staff - People are promoted not if they are more brilliant or effective on the job but if they comply well to the absurd policies - Long hours whit few overtime pay - People who stay there tend to be workaholic and not "well rounded" expeting others to be like them - You are always "on call" even on week-ends/holidays -A lot of people act as "they are saving the world"
