      Nightmare | worst place to start your career

      Pros

      All pros have now disappeared after covid. No pros of consulting exist anymore. Firm is exceptionally slow to adapt to changes and does not value employee wellbeing either.

      Cons

      Extremely long working hours (70-80 hour weeks) Work on weekends (Almost every weekend barring a few) Very limited exits to industry even after 2-3 years Inconsiderate project management and principals Keep understaffing consultants on projects and burning them out Outdated work knowledge Extremely long tenures on a single project (9-12 months on same project, not typical in consulting at all) Extremely high attrition since partners and principals do not listen to consultants when they voice their concerns but pretend to care during annual surveys and upward feedbacks

      Pros

      This firm is just living on its past reputation. Some of the work is good.

      Cons

      Worst work life balance. More often than not firm crosses the line between making people work as subordinate or "Slaves". Firm claims to be expert in Change Management for clients but itself does not know how to do change management internally. Changes to Bonus structure for previous year were announced in a conference call just one week before payout and right after the conference call, Partners called consultants to tell that they got almost nothing in Bonus. Most of the people are smart but think that everyone else is stupid.

      - Great people to work with, down to earth - Great can-do attitude, does well for clients - Working better on work-life balance

      Cons

      - New leadership is implementing growth strategy with no vision. Hiring outside talent while current leaders are leaving - Starting to have lots of politics and dissatisfaction
