Flexible Company, Good People, Good facilities, Access to all data bases for secondary research.

Cons

Work is not challenging enough. Concentration more on Billable hours rather than quality work. If you are joining GSC, understand that it is completely different from Consulting. It's only secondary research not even primary. Limited opportunities to go

Great firm - tight knit and collaborative

Pros

High energy and youthful environment, strong focus on professional development and engaged senior staff. The projects tend to run long but you are typically only staffed on one at a time - versus the 2-3 that you see with other firms.

Cons

Team leadership can be mixed. Some managers are rockstars and others are pretty lackluster. Work/life balance is typical of a management consulting firm: they spend lots of time talking about part-time, balanced workloads, etc., but at the end of the day, expect to work long into the evenings and at least one afternoon of the weekend.
