Pros

This is a Well known company

Cons

Very poor work conditions and less than qualty testing, extremely low pay for the amount of work. Very high turn over in the 3 months I worked there....only 30 min for lunch with only 3 microwaves where only two worked with a large number of employeess taking lunch, or break at the same time....so after using the restroom, waiting your turn using a microwave Now it is only @20 minutes for lunch. Lab equipment and space is first come first serve and you have to hope you have somewhere to set up your DNA testing. Trained by inexperienced personnel. Was very disappointed in the less than progressive work environment and inappropiate, less than professional statements, conversations and treatment as a new hire. Waited 30 - 45 min in the lobby on my first day. Also, my start date changed several times. Disorganized and seemingly deliberate misleading information. Honestly, it felt like they prided themselves for the poor wage and labor practices. The employees seemed to be encouraged to engage in back biting, immature behavior and working against qualty results. The samples are handled so haphazardly and little accountablity I am now leary of ANY results generated from LabCorp.
