Pros

flexibility you can slack off. good for retirees.

Cons

toxic work environment (LabCorp Microbiology department) No annual appraisal, no evaluation. basically, your only reward for hard work is more work. poor management no matter how unproductive people are, they stay because they know labcorp cannot get anyone better. Minimal raise across the board every year, cause the management knows no matter how little they give you, you will stay.

Pros

Can’t think of any right now

Cons

Labcorp outsources their report reviewers to India for one thing. Meaning you have to either work until 11pm or wake up at 4am to get your reports reviewed. The company consistently hires power hungry, no experience, rude boomer managers that have no people skills. 3/4 project managers that I had here were completely out of touch with how to run clinical trials and treated CRAs like garbage. Health benefits are also not good
