Pros

LabCorp is a very stable company with a constant eye to the future. There are lots of areas with good growth potential.

Cons

There is always some frustration with a company that is on the stock exchange and shareholders must be satisfied. It's not easy for employees to understand decisions that must be made to keep shareholders happy.

Pros

Loved my coworkers and loved calling calling on my clients. The training dept in this company was actually pretty good.

Cons

An "old boys club." And if you aren't in it, or kowtow to them, you will not last. My accts did not even want to see upper management, as they thought they were very unprofessional. commission program continually changed, not for the better, and forget a life/work balance....there is none. So, if you like working your tail off, doing lots of worthless reports, and getting paid "ok" then this is the place for you.

Pros

Great benefits and opportunity for advancement. Can't beat free labwork. Health benefits leave room for improvement though. No problems asking for time off and it's great to get 3 weeks vacation within your first year of employment.

Cons

Nothing against the company, but previous direct management leaves much much to be desired. They were not knowledgable in the business at all. Great HR intervention when needed, but have heard it hasn't been the same experience with others. Very Very Very difficult to get started if you aren't familiar with the business. Training is practically non existance. If you haven't been in this type of autonomous position before, then your will be lost.
