Pros

LabCorp is a very ethical company, focused on improving health and improving lives. LabCorp's Corporate Leadership and employee direction has been stellar during the COVID-19 pandemic. I am very proud to work for a company who continues to focus on research and development, science and innovation, efficiency, and new ways to expand testing capacity. It is amazing to see so many employees with very long careers at LabCorp. It truly speaks to how the company cares for it's employees. Thank You LabCorp!!!

Cons

The Employee benefit package is very robust but would like the company to offer a Long Term Care option.

Pros

The Genzyme (Integrated Genetics) team is collaborative and patient centric. Todd and Mike are great leaders. LCA has diluted the GG culture. The scientific team may not be the first out of the gate with new technologies; however, once the technology is launched, you can be sure that it a platform/test that is first in its class. The training team is thorough and the sales teams are very knowledgeable in what they sell.

Cons

Since the purchase of Genzyme by LabCorp; the culture of collaboration and acceptance of sales feedback makes little impact on the leadership team to ignite the change process. The healthcare terrain is brutally competitive. Sales teams need to be laser focused and not be responsible for operational over site, inclusive of billing and collections. Nothing can be more detrimental to a sales relationship than asking your team to be a collection agent.
