There are ongoing concerns regarding workplace practices. Employees are often required to stay late, even when shipments arrive outside of scheduled hours. There have been observations of inappropriate relationships between management and staff that have not been addressed despite being reported. Concerns raised to upper management appear to go unresolved. There is also a perception of gender bias in the hiring process, with female applicants more likely to be offered positions. Favoritism among team leads and managers who are predominantly male. The process for raises are inconsistent, with some long term employees (15+ years) not receiving fair or competitive wage increases.

Workplace culture The laboratory manager relies heavily on subordinates not assigned to leadership positions for training, feedback, and monitoring the work of others. Unfair practices in people management with the biggest issue encompassing equity in attendance. While some employees are offered accommodations for attendance issues, others have been terminated. One employee was a "No Call,No Show" twice and nothing was done while that is an automarmtic termination in most places. Employees frequently complain about the manager and one person transferred to a different facility with a complaint about the manager. I didn't know that there was a supervisor until shortly before the end of my employment.

I don't care to much about the Point system but some things have to be done.

Understaffed, underpaid, benefits arent the best

We are overworked and underpay. I have been covering a two-person site by myself many times. We have been struggling with hiring new employees. I always here that we are in a hiring freeze, I feel that over the years the hiring freeze has been extended more and more. Merits are a slap on the face; LabCorp can definitely do better in paying their staff. I see how much money LabCorp makes every quarter and they are expanding worldwide. We cannot even retain certain accounts because of staff shortage and yet we are expanding worldwide.

Expect 0 recognition. Raises/promotions based on how much your manager likes you, not based on actual work or accomplishments. HR team doesn't fully investigate all claims. Managers are quick to blame everyone else for issues that they have caused, holding 0 accountability. Even when proven to be at fault. Unclear job expectations

Low pay, so little respect for people and what they do they can't even refer to them as "people" (we're just "resources"), eliminating WFH, and a heavy push to start AI slopping everything.
