Pros

good life balance that allows me to develop my soft skills, technical skills, time management, team engagement, mentoring and training new hires and process improvements.

Cons

I've never had any problems with processes or people management, so I believe that the managers' constant improvements are always involving our needs

Pros

We have great benefits and great hours, we have great PLB plan.

Cons

We need to do better at training it needs to be hands on, not the virtual training. We all learn in different ways. Most people people do better with hands on training. Labcorp needs to do better when making changes to our policies or how we do collections these things need to be better provided to the front line employee. Either by staff meeting something other than emails.

Pros

The training plan was comprehensive and clear. Team was good to work with. Good line management. Fully remote based.

Cons

Unclear communications from upper management in central labs, corporate propaganda spin on all news. Lots of employees taken on during covid and business couldn't keep up so many were then layed off. Poor pay relative to competitors.

My Labcorp Drug Development assessment

Business Outlook

Pros

large company with good reputation that adds to the CV, competitive salary and benefits, good recognition and awards programs

Cons

Labcorp Drug Development line managers are always suspicious of their employees, poor training, disorganized processes and when you are assigned a new project it feels like a puzzle and a big headache, and without any kind of prejudice, this company, which is American, hires many Indian employees who unfortunately mostly do not have a good level of quality of work, making it basically a lost cause for a manager to maintain the overall quality of their project. They are all time assigning projects and employees cannot have 1 5 minute break that they want to fill it in with a new assignment; company does not like feedback for process improvements and want to force the 100% home based employees to go to the office quite often. Very negative when an employee asks for resignation, they make you feel guilty for not having the resources for replacement. This is the company's responsibility!

Pros

They provide quality on the job training. Gain great lab experience as a early career position. The benefits are pretty good.

Cons

Far underpaid. Overworked with mandatory overtime. Inconsistent schedule from day to day. Working holidays. Have to request all vacation for the year in January. Upper management does not thoroughly communicate decisions.
