      Pros

      There is a real effort to live by the vision and core values of the company. There are a lot of opportunities around the world for people who are willing to work hard. Internal training has gotten much better over the years so there are a lot of skills that can be gained through Lam's internal training.

      Cons

      The Semiconductor business is 24X7 meaning in some jobs there is a drive to be connected all of the time.

      Great place to work, good benefits, equitable compensation, strong company that really strives to keep top talent.

      Cons

      Semiconductors is a tough business. It's cyclical and operates in a high risk / high rewards market. Since it's truly global the time zone changes and travel are hard on the work life balance
