Pros

Job security, okay benefits, get to work from home

Cons

The culture is China-centric. Chinese employees get better bonuses than US employees. Promotions don't happen. The company expects you to put Lenovo before your personal life -- one of their mottos is "Prioritize the Company." They layed off essential employees and "replaced" them with less competent Chinese employees. You can't get promoted because upper management won't let our immediate management backfill any vacated jobs. Somehow upper management can find the money to hire more upper management. As if that isn't enough, the office is noisy (due to construction outside and above us), has very little privacy, and almost no parking. We don't have a cafeteria or gym in our building the way Morrisville does, and we're treated as unimportant by upper management. We hear about things done for Morrisville employees, but we're treated like upper management doesn't want anyone to know we (or our products) exist. The company won't even put its name on the building!

Pros

Flexible work environment, good pay, facilities were nice, bonuses were decent. Working from home was allowed and had the newest, most powerful systems to use to develop on

Cons

Its a Chinese company, focused around the china teams, you will work all hours of the day, mostly on projects that will get canned, or hack jobs used as a band-aid to save the company face

Pros

- Can honestly say that the products are great, buy them myself for my family - There are good perks ... in general, benefits are on basically on par with similar companies - Flexibility at work is fairly good, especially when life issues happen.

Cons

- Poor talent recognition and proper compensation. It's very clear how rewards are done based on management preferences versus actual workload and achievements. - After resource reductions, remaining employees have to absorb other jobs ... for free. Even when after hours work (night conf calls) might increase significantly. - Changing jobs within the company is hardly ever financially attractive - Moral is at all times low, many people in important roles are looking for other jobs
