Pros

Friendly colleagues. Nothing more but have to meet 20 word minimum requirement.

Cons

Senior management lacks of prospective of future -- all they care about are meeting this year's KPI. Even though they are yelling that make difference to achieve PC+ goal on the press, in reality they just want to meet sales target and ensure their bonus, in scarification of product competence, profit margin, cash flow, and employee benefit. In Lenovo, if you are already a manager, then it is good for you because all you are going to do is attending meetings, con-calls, which may not constructive or even matters at all. You can just ensure you can use your mouth, phones, Lync software, then leave all the work to your employees. This is indeed the 'management' profile in Lenovo, despite of which level of management you are. Put yourself in this situation and image that you are the manager of Lenovo, you wont leave you position because although your salary is slightly below the average, the efforts you make is minimum, compared with peers of other companies-- how cost-effective it is! Low pay and benefit, all-day-long-work, and very limited promotion space create huge turnover, and the company is still cutting budget on benefit and firing employees.

Pros

Flexible work schedule. Good pay. Unlimited vacation (with approval from your manager). Long maternity leave. Fun coworkers. Free on-campus gym, wellness center, cafeteria, and cafe. Clean building. Free feminine products. Awesome healthcare benefits.

Cons

Extremely fast-paced environment. Too much re-organization and layoffs. Responsibilities fall through the cracks when people leave. There is no plan for back-fills -- former employees' duties fall onto other employees who already have too much work to do (which causes those employees to start to look elsewhere for jobs). Bonus is not purely on performance, but on business performance. Work/life balance is difficult at times. Too many required Powerpoint presentations for meetings on the same data for upper management. Super difficult to grow for younger employees. Budgets are constantly being cut, so expenses must always be decreasing (even it's for services that are necessary). Lack of communication between departments. A lot of turnovers for certain positions.

Pros

Best products in the industry. Great employees and benefits are very good. Beautiful campuses that are in very accessible locations. Community focused. Encourages employees to give back by offering incentives and supporting time off work for community service. Proud to say that I am employee.

Cons

Sales team consist of 70% of recent college grads with many children of employees. Unfortunately they come with a sense of entitlement and expect the red carpet. P3 bonuses are getting slimmer and slimmer as all monies are invested in EBG. Sales quotas for entire segments are unobtainable. Continual resource actions with expectations of more from less people.
