Pros

Salary is the ONLY pro

Cons

Everything - work life balance, benefits (the pension is the lowest possible amount), sick pay (only 10 days) but most of all the absolutely toxic horrendous hierarchy who are all nice to your face but happily stab you in the back. Will interview disabled candidates but will find a reason not to hire them as their stores are setup only for able bodied employees The Area Managers are all ‘yes men’ and are completely disinterested in developing their teams nor supporting their managers. Health and safety is a joke and the only input from senior management is based on fear. A truly dreadful organisation - take your skills elsewhere - don’t join this awful company!.

Pros

The work is fulfilling and interesting if you like working in analytics and data analysis. You learn a lot of valuable skills working here through the day to day operations. The company is on the younger side in terms of age and it’s evident in the environment.

Cons

Leadership is very poor. Has tons of Europeans at the top of the chain and they do not know how to adapt to the US markets. They also do not like to promote within the company, at least with U.S. colleagues. they prefer to bring over someone in Europe to fill manager positions rather than promote within the U.S. It is also very political when it comes to promotions and that is evident with who gets promoted and how quickly that is done. Leadership is also allergic to change. They refuse to change the processes and Operations differently then the European models and the company suffers.

Pros

Some colleagues, but that's it

Cons

Even though they claimed it was part-time, would be me on more hours than stated in my contract, even though the store would shut at 9 pm some nights we wouldn't leave until 22:30/23:00, management are bullies, would never offer people chances to progress or get off till, basically don't work here unless you like to be overworked and under-appreciated
