The pay is good but that's about it

The pay was good and you could easily pick up hours in the off seasons.

Cons

They will overwork you. It wasn't uncommon to have nine days in a row of eight hour shifts and them get mad at you for not working at top power despite that. I also had a manager make ableist comments about me having autism over our head pieces and he was promoted after.

Pay is good but not worth it

Cons

Store manager puts too much pressure on the team and gives no praise to our best workers. Talk down to everyone infront of customers. Goes on 10 cigarette breaks a day and take and extra 15 min on his break. This manager has been reported but the company doesn't care. Wouldn't recommend lidl to anyone.

Pays up to £10.50 after a few years

Cons

They work you as if you are a robot. Unrealistically high targets. Will use bullying and intimidation tactics to push you to work faster. Management don't care about workers and are very disorganised. They breach health and safety legislation because they can get away with it
