Pros

It was a job that seems secure in this current environment.

Cons

Little to no communication between management which creates a poor working environment for the staff. Focus is all about pushing staff to, and sometimes beyond, their limit...almost like a game for the management. Those who do work hard, are asked to work harder to cover the dead wood. Management do not want to deal with the problems, either passing it onto another manager or brushing it under the carpet hoping it will go away. No staff discount, despite UK stores being given this benefit.

Pros

colleagues were good (minority) and important

Cons

As the headline mentions mainly. Unless you know somebody in high level otherwise you will suffer for doing non-sense.
