Pros

At times a great team. Not much more than that though.

Cons

Long hours. Shocking pay for the amount of pressure put on you as a shift manager. You’re expected to open a store for business. Close a store. Do all the ordering for the store and hold the safe. For £1 more an hour than the customer assistants who genuinely serve customers and go home care free. High turnover of staff. Constantly having to train new staff for them to again leave in a month or two.
