      Pros

      Money is great Excellent progression routes if you work for it Pushes you above and beyond If you like to work hard and be kept busy, it's the perfect place for you. What it teaches you is all about your attitude. If you truly want to be successful here, you will be.

      Cons

      5am starts, 9pm+ finishes. It can be long and unsociable hours but you get paid handsomely for it. If you are looking at Assistant Manager and above, beware of the sharks above you. If they want you out, they'll find a way. Be prepared for a few knives in the back. If you're just doing it for the money and don't work hard, you'll find yourself on a till for 8 hours on a Saturday wanting to headbutt the next person who comments on the weather.

      Good salary, depending on the area can be a fun place to work.

      Cons

      work-life balance doesnt exist here, store assistants get only 20 hrs contract for the start.

      The money is very good, company car is also a very nice benefit and you get to work with some nice people.

      Cons

      Glass ceiling between sm and area manager positions. Very poor management from more senior managers. Too much emphasis on productivity, more should be put into well being of staff and customers.
