Pros

Reasonable pay and an okay discount

Cons

Constant understaffing with unrealistic expectations and an unmanageable workload. When working a close shift you won't get out on time or the work won't get done properly. Doesn't promote a work/life balance.

Pros

Colleagues I work with daily

Cons

Area Management are poor and lack people skills. They show no appreciation for your hard work and have no clear direction despite knowing there are a lack of hours in the stores. Managers were told not to tell anyone about our security guard being ill during lockdown so the store could stay open to the public. All the Area Managers had a meeting in our store upstairs in a meeting room and then they all had to isolate for 14 days because ours had COVID. Their bosses would have known and yet nothing was done. At store level we would have no doubt been in trouble.
