Pros

The money is very good, company car is also a very nice benefit and you get to work with some nice people.

Cons

Glass ceiling between sm and area manager positions. Very poor management from more senior managers. Too much emphasis on productivity, more should be put into well being of staff and customers.

Pros

Discount is the only pro I can think about. Not even the wage is a pro as you are asked to give up on your private life.

Cons

Everything. The shop manager was the rudest person I have ever met I my life, dreadful, chav, fake, incapable of speaking to her staff.

Pros

I can't think of anything positive to say about this company. I changed career and thought I would enjoy a new challenge but I was completely wrong where Lidl was concerned.

Cons

30 minutes break in a 10 hour shift (if your lucky) Unhappy staff Everyone out for themselves (management) No work life balance Assistant Managers mainly do all the work and get all the pressures. Training is awful. Blame culture. Unrealistic expectations.
