it is okay

Pros

Smart teammates, good food, solid pay and benefits. Work-life balance is generally okay, and the tech stack (React, Ember, TypeScript) provides solid experience for growth. Collaboration with cross-functional teams (design, product, accessibility) can be rewarding.

Cons

Too much internal politics and favoritism. Performance calibration feels inconsistent and sometimes unfair. Hard work isn’t always recognized, and decisions can feel political. Limited refresher training or mentorship opportunities for long-term employees.

Pros

Great company that takes care of its employees and takes its mission seriously

Cons

Comes with much of the pain points of larger companies--lots of moving parts that can easily feel siloed

Pros

I enjoyed my time at LinkedIn. I felt that the values of the company reached into my everyday work, and that is something to cherish. LinkedIn has charismatic senior management and invests in its employees.

Cons

Let's tone down some of that charisma! To be fair, it is a professional social media platform, but it can feel off-putting to employees from more diverse backgrounds.
