Pros

I can't speak highly enough about this company. There are times I can't believe I even work here. Beyond the free food, free booze, and the beautiful work spaces, the company is even better at hiring some of the smartest and friendliest people I've ever met. If you ever get the opportunity to interview here, do yourself a favor and study up, because you will NOT regret it

Cons

This isn't really a con, but it's something to keep in mind: because LinkedIn is so good at creating an awesome work environment, some employees tend to get too comfortable. Don't mistake their kindness for weakness -- do your job, get results and always do what's best for you and the company.

Good work-life balance and flexible hours (for engineering) Perks and benefits are pretty good, perks include interesting speakers, inDay, fun offsites Most people are good to work with Focus on professional development opportunities Company and product are growing and doing well

Cons

Company org is confusing A few people are incompetent and political enough it's a real morale killer Career advancement feels political Some people in mid-management don't seem to care much about cultural values

Company itself is in a great market, profitable and doing great things for professional networking.

Cons

In terms of execution, too many middle-tier management gets in the way. There are way too many newbie "manager", "sr. manager", "director" titles who are trained or gifted in management.
