Pros

Great salary, benefits, perks, food, company events. If you are an IC or junior staff (APM) then LinkedIn is an amazing place to work.

Cons

Incremental mentality among all of the leadership. Risk-averse. LinkedIn current leadership favors tenure and thus has a problem retaining new leaders from the outside. Innovation is aspirational and non-existent within the company. R&D leadership (Director+) is not diverse.

Pros

Amazing offices, great food (breakfast & Lunch free), snacks during the day, InDays (activities 1 per month, Friday), great perks (perkUp, Education, Fertility, etc). Able to bring family/visitors to the office Mondays or Fridays, WFAC temporary Policy (Working from another country) up to 6 weeks, per country within EU.

Cons

The culture vanished after 2023, before it such a vibrant and kind culture. Now its toxic, micromanagement in place, almost impossible to achieve quota (other business lines easier to overachieve and go to the Club than LMS (LinkedIn Marketing Solutions) - it's very hard to control ad spend growth & upselling with the market struggling). No promotions or raises. Senior ICS with no progression. Salaries are 35-40% less than in Google, Pinterest, etc. Almost no opportunities for internal mobility and very hard to get a new role. Engagement and quantity over quality of customer support, Several KPIS in place that are very hard to hit, Lot of pressure within LMS as other peers are growing the double than us. Its becoming a Call centric department, lots of people feel burned out, drained and want to leave. So sad to see such a great company sinking, from the perspective of employee retention and culture...
