Interesting technical problems Best large scale data set to work with Free food and drink Easy to make an impact, empowerment to engineers Top of the line machines for development

Cons

Can be political Crowded workplace (due to fast pace of growing) Still paying dues for previous poor leadership, current team is doing a much better job however

Free food The promise to go public (for the past 5 years) Management is aloof enough to let you do your job

Extremely political Extremely political (like NATO) The site remains insanely unstable Privacy gets lip service but no resources from an engineering perspective Everyone has access to member profiles (hello FTC) Management is learning as it goes (they're all very young) Management doesn't talk to each other
