Lockheed Martin reviews about "training"

Lack of effort to develop mid level engineers. Level 1 and 2 engineers are constantly rotating and changing positions but once you get higher than that it becomes much harder to rotate into new roles/sites. Very few experienced engineers are left training new employees over and over.

Management cares more about climbing the corporate ladder Mismanagement Job becomes boring and repetitive Hard to innovate Difficult to use new software tools in the system A lot of red tape Social skills seems to be rewarded more than technical skills Too many meetings

Matrixed organization can be difficult to navigate.

A global company that has many remote sites requires a significant amount of traveling.

Sometimes difficult to escalate an issue for resolution with management.

PTO could be better, 401k match could be better, but its not bad. Better than most. My previous supervisor was excellent in communication....he was promoted and the current supervisor, is NOT. I have to look up his name because I dont recall who it is.

Could have better training programs and more synergy across programs

The training is horrible. You are definitely in control of how much you know.

No cons. Great time so far
