Pros

Seeing the happiness of customers when you helped solve their home improvement issue.

Cons

Managers don't value you. Pay raises are an insult. It seems the more you screw up the higher you advance instead of the way it should be; those who excel should be advancing in management. If you question why something is done, you get unofficially retaliated against.

Pros

It's a job. They provide an employee discount for purchases. There is really not much good to say about this particular location. Advancement can be made by those people willing to bury their heads in management's butt. Good luck with Woonsocket, RI management. They have their heads up there already so it might be a tight fit.

Cons

No recognition for good work done, management favors the lazy "kiss-ass" types, schedules are inconsistent with norms stated by corporate office. Management has a tendency to "hide" in the office area to avoid doing work and turn a blind eye toward what is really going on in the store.

Pros

It is a friendly, welcoming enviroment with many chances to move forward. The company is always growing and evolving the the times, seemingly never missing a beat as far as advertisment and evolution goes. Management is usually open to suggestions, questions, and comments, and it is easy to make them understand if you are having personal issues at home that create time needed away from work.

Cons

There are many employees to take advantage of the fact that many managers don't watch what all of their employees are doing. The hard working employees are constantly watched on cameras or given tasks by management... However, employees that don't work so hard are usually dismissed by management and allowed to slack on the job.
