All the good people have left/retired, worked approximately 70-80 hours per week, 8-9 months out of the year for very little pay.

I was able to work whenever I wanted, which is a huge pro since I was busy raising two children on my own. Making other people feel good was very rewarding.

Cons

It was hard to find new clients. Also, you have to be very talkative to new people in hopes they will purchase merchandise.

I've been working as Mary Kay employee for nearly 5 years, and I can say that it'a a really great company to work for with a really great people. Very ethical, friendly, always fair!

Cons

Not a lot of space for carier growth, due to small emloyment turnover
