*Lack of development opportunities *Promotions are rarely given *Mandatory overtime (no additional compensation or incentive) *Poor team morale *Very high stress *Lack of guidance and clear direction *New supervisors- not as experienced in people managing and don't know how to help employees get further in their career *Low compensation *Forced to be in office 3-4 days a week *Extremely high workload, always (low head count) *Management plays favorites

My manager and some of my team were great people

There was not enough parking Leadership is super political There is no diversity, just nepotism of a specific group of people (this platform won’t allow me to specify unfortunately but think silicon valley) Overwhelming workload Finger pointing culture, we are not one team at all The building is poorly kept and dirty No opportunity to grow, you are expected to give more and more for less There were signs in the bathroom saying not to “spill” on the floor (really?) Tons of red tape, impossible to get work done The R&D building is still a bit nicer, but super political still. The manufacturing building is treated like the armpit of Medtronic

Loved my co-workers and good benefits like 401k and insurance

Cons

Overworked. Bad work life balance, underpaid, extremely high sales expectations and lots of favoritism. Unlikely to move up unless your friends with supervisors. Upper management doesn’t give a damn about you and your family they only care about the numbers.
