Excellent benefits package options, relatively competitive pay, heavy emphasis on career development, opportunities to travel for work, flexible work options (location, work-life integration), heavy emphasis on ID&E.

Cons

Internal bureaucracy makes it very difficult to advance to director level roles; some folks in Dir+ roles who do not demonstrate the skillsets, while others are held back who should be promoted.

Pros

I don't see this company going out of business anytime soon - having a Mission around helping people live longer, healthier lives hits home and we're good at pulling together. Brilliant people work here, if you like a challenge this is a good place to be. Employee groups are a great way to get connected across the company and have fun, benefits are great, pay is usually good. Lots of ways to do volunteer work and improve your skills if you know where to look.

Cons

Restructuring can come as a shock, always be prepared and listen to what's going on around the company. Still trying to get past silos and improve inter-department communications, finding the group/info you need can be hard when you don't know the right people. Negotiate a better salary for yourself right away, or be prepared to work 2 levels above your own so HR will approve a promotion.

They short your pay and overwork you and don’t help with any cases of sexual harassment from any higher up they fire you instead
