The pay is great----at least for the job I perform. The other benefits(insurance, 401k, etc.) are pretty good as well, but do seem to be slowly eroding.

Cons

The endless corporate BS, a generally severe lack of communication or caring at the local level, and the really craptacular way that promotions are handled at the local(Memphis facilities) level. The buddy system is SOP. Really productive employees are almost punished for doing an outstanding job---again, at the local level. I can't speak for anything outside of the Memphis facilities in this regard. The atmosphere used to be much nicer when it was just Sofamor Danek. It started going downhill when the "Medtronic" was added.

Parciality with the third party employee and their permanent employee. Don't have Job security Within the notice period anytime they will fire you. USA people will take decision. India management don't have any rights. no career growth, no job security. Medtronic Hyderabad development center junk company.
