It is a very large company and at times it is hard to gather momentum for positive changes forward. Sometimes they kept doing the same things over and over - until they got bypassed by the competition or the FDA tells them to change.
Can be very political at times.
Feels like they have to develop/design everything in house - very limited in bringing in (hiring) outside expertise. For example, when looking at bringing in people for new technologies (wireless, mobile applications, etc) the demand medical expertise instead of the specific technology expertise.
At times it appears that there is more management positions than there are worker-bees.
