Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re glad to hear you’ve had a positive experience with work-life balance, collaborative pod structures, and the people you work with - those are all important parts of how we aim to operate. We also appreciate your honesty around areas where we can continue to improve. We recognize that flexibility, inclusivity, and time off are important to our employees, and we’re actively reviewing how our policies can best support different needs while still enabling strong collaboration and performance. Creating an environment where everyone feels included and heard is an ongoing priority. Thank you for taking the time to share your perspective - feedback like this helps us continue to evolve.

Horrible Company

Pros

I got paid but not a lot

Cons

During my year at Meltwater in 2012, I found the work environment to be consistently misaligned with professional standards of respect and work-life balance. The company culture felt highly demanding and often prioritized performance metrics over employee well-being, which created a stressful atmosphere that was difficult to sustain. While I was expected to deliver at a high level, the support and structure needed to do so effectively were frequently lacking, and it became clear that the organization’s priorities did not include maintaining a healthy, respectful workplace. One example that stood out was an offsite in Cancun where, despite being at a resort, the expectation was that employees work throughout the day rather than having any structured time to rest or recharge. It felt less like a company retreat and more like an extension of the regular workday, which undermined morale and reinforced a culture of constant availability. The experience left me feeling overworked and undervalued, and it shaped my view that the company did not genuinely prioritize employee well-being.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re genuinely sorry to hear that your time at Meltwater in 2012 did not reflect the level of respect, support, and balance that we strive to provide. We recognize that expectations around performance, work-life balance, and employee wellbeing have evolved significantly over the years. Since that time, Meltwater has made meaningful changes to how we support our people - including clearer structures, stronger leadership accountability, and a greater focus on wellbeing, inclusion, and sustainable performance. Feedback like this is important to us, even when it reflects experiences from earlier stages of our company’s growth. We remain committed to learning from the past and continuously improving the employee experience, so that our culture today better aligns with the values we hold ourselves to. We appreciate you sharing your perspective and wish you the very best in your continued career.
