Pros

-Huge, helpful support network of employees all over the world -Startup atmosphere -Great base and commissions -Huge opportunity for growth -High-octane, aggressive environment without being toxic -Tight-knit offices

Cons

-A little cult-ish at times. You definitely need to buy into the culture to get anywhere here. -Definitely requires a certain personality - people on the more introverted side should probably beware. -With small offices, team chemistry is huge. If you don't fit into the office, things can get really uncomfortable really quickly.

Pros

Spent 3 months @ Meltwater. October-December, would have stayed longer but was on a different life path. Great training. Super friendly people. Managers are skilled and knowledgeable. Seemed like great upward mobility if you are willing to put in the extra effort. And the culture is very unique.

Cons

Only critique is work life balance (depends on the individual)

Pros

Meltwater has an amazing company culture and is willing to invest in people. I came into the role with no sales experience but with a keen interest to join a growing, innovative company that is willing to foster potential talent. This has certainly been the case. Access to all levels of management is well upheld so the individual is able to develop quickly. The company is still expanding and innovating so there are a lot of opportunities. This is a young company that hires people from all different backgrounds - which leads to a great working environment. The bonus structure is very generous too, and earning potential is uncapped.

Cons

You have to be thick skinned and self motivated. Starting out in a sales role is hard, and clients aren't forgiving of poor sales skills. If you aren't getting results it can be very disheartening
