Pros

Meraki is genuinely an amazing place to work - the people and the culture really encompass what this company is all about! The technology itself is disruptive and changing the marketplace which is a fantastic story and journey to be part of! You are treated to a catered buffet lunch daily alongside endless snack kitchens and a fully equipped games room to be able to get some time out. Your target is YOUR target and how you get there is completely up to you however support from a technical, personal and sales perspective is readily available! There are lots of social events to pick from and the Quota Carrying employees are treated to a Sales Kick Off in San Francisco and Vegas!! Everyone is open and welcoming and Senior members of staff are not hidden away in offices, they are on the floor and extremely approachable! Genuinely the best place I have ever worked!

Cons

The only thing I can mention is that working from home isn't welcomed - however, the job is a lot more fun and productive when in the office!

Pros

Great location. Free lunch and snacks. Bright and talented co workers.

Cons

Long working hours. High work load. If constantly getting bombarded by phone calls from angry customers was not enough, you get assigned additional tickets via email! You can slog all day and it still won’t suffice. It’s bye bye CLI and real world network troubleshooting scenarios as there is not much you can learn here beyond taking packet captures.

Pros

• Cool product, customers are actually excited when you show it to them • Exciting to be part of a rapidly growing organization • Everyone wants to help you • 4 chances to overachieve each year and accelerators • Great career opportunities, they mainly hire roles internally so most people come in as ADR or Territory Account Managers before moving onto Midmarket, Channel, Service Provider, leadership etc • Tons of corporate perks – Healthcare, employee share program, gym, cycle to work, free catered breakfast & Lunch (you do put on weight if you are not careful) • Leadership is super transparent, if you need to know anything you can ask • Casual dress, no suits and ties – very Californian vibe • Skateboards, footballs, PlayStation, ping pong, pool all in the office if you need a break from customers. Feels like a huge startup rather than a corporate office. • I love my team, spend a lot of time laughing

Cons

Cons • Cross functionally it can be painful as some teams are headed up out of the US • It’s hard work, this isn’t going to be a role where you can manage a few large accounts and sit back. You are constantly speaking to new customers every day.
