Pros

The only thing Meraki can offer is free food. That's it.

Cons

There is no career path at Meraki. Management keeps changing company's goals all the time and no one knows what is going to happen in near future. Management team cannot keep up with parent company (Cisco) policies and make poor decisions which frustrates employees across different departments. Compensation is lower than any other companies in the same field.

Pros

- Meraki is a fun place to work, literally fun! Amazing offices with the best people you can find on Earth (and other planets). - They really treat their employees very well, and there are very nice benefits such as a leisure trip with the team once a year. - Management is very competent and I can't even say that the doors are open because there isn't even a door between us. - Fast-paced environment that provides for intensive learning. - Free food and drinks... 20 million different options. AH... on thay note, gourmet lunch is served 1 min away frim my desk every day!

Cons

- Sometimes I feel the workload is too heavy. - Some people don't get the salary they deserve.

Pros

the no brainer is that meraki's got your breakfast, lunch and dinner covered. there's no need for grocery runs while working here. Dog-friendly office is an obvious pro. job/ career-wise, in my experience, managers have really been invested in being good managers. mine personally puts a lot of time and effort into getting me where I want to go, even if it means transferring roles/ teams. everyone who works here is super friendly and open, so it makes sense that when the same people get promoted to management, they continue to treat their employees with respect.

Cons

as a growing company, it is getting harder work with other teams, or understand fully what other teams are doing and how it impacts your own job. I personally think it's the reality of a fast-growing company, and not for any real obfuscation on each team or management's part. on the same note, it does seem that management makes an active effort in changing/ fixing this issue.
