      Great place as a first job, but few growth opportunities

      Pros

      Meraki has some of the best engineers and a great sense of community. The work is challenging and truly full-stack: you work on features, not layers.

      Cons

      Very ambitious goals but constantly short on manpower and resources. Cisco is becoming more and more involved, which bloats the bureaucracy. Engineering leadership is stagnating.

      Pros

      I have worked at Meraki for over 2 years and I have zero plans to leave! I love the atmosphere of the SF office, its inviting, inclusive to everyone and overall just an amazing place to work. My manager truly cares about me personally and my career at Meraki, I have been promoted into a position that matches my skillset and experience.

      Cons

      Each team does have their own culture and some teams definitely have some work to do in the diversity and inclusion department, but I feel as though leadership is aware of this and taking the necessary steps to make it better.
