Your success is almost completely based on the territory and the “Cisco team” you inherit. The days of the sales floor hitting 150-200% are over, yet a lot of the leadership team still acts like this is the norm. It’s not. Newer Senior leadership which seems lost and disconnected in the last 18 months and it’s been mostly down hill. Tons of attrition (top performers + top management), talks of big changes and pay increases have been nominal and fall flat. It’s clear it’s about the process here, make it repeatable and easy to plug in play AE’s. The majority of this sales team, management team and leadership team, seem to know that it’s hard to impact this business and this creates a stagnate environment where it is hard to grow or push yourself.

As one person already stated you will be playing territory roulette. Get a good territory and you’ll have a chance to succeed, if not you have NO chance. There is consistent praise for reps that do well and blame put on reps that don’t due to poor work ethic. There is consistent promise for change but nothing is ever done. Reps seem to be exiting weekly.
