Pros

There’s a lot of Pros here. Really enjoyed my tenure, they hire great people, quotas are attainable, work life balance is strong, and it’s nestled under Cisco which is a great company. Having Cisco on your resume is powerful and opens doors for you. From a sales standpoint, it’s a relative easy product to sell from a leader in the networking industry.

Cons

There’s a few, as there would be in many companies. Compensation is lower than the industry standard. Career growth within the business unit (Meraki) is weak, and could be more clear within the parent company (Cisco).

Pros

WFH for now When we were in the office free food Over half the reps hit quota Fun culture and expect it to be very Frat and Sorority like You don’t have to find business aka cold calling to hit your number Partners can and often do the heavy lifting when selling They usually promote from within for positions

Cons

Doesn’t seem like WFH will be optional after the pandemic If your territory isn’t very good to start off with prepare to spend 6 plus months bringing it up to speed Prepared to feel oversold with the internal “culture”. and what’s going on in the world. Why does it always have to be neg Promotions are not based off of how well you have done or how well you improved your territory, it’s based off of how well management knows and likes you. Lots of perks taken away from pandemic like travel 6 to 7 times a year, free office food.
