Pros

Meta feels like college, and you can take advantage of that college structure. Be a sponge, take classes, learn from your peers, and above all eat the free food. The salary and benefits are excellent. My time in Meta helped me pay off my student loans.

Cons

Lots of people care about their performance reviews way too much. It almost seems like they go to work to score points to then get rewarded. I was part of many conversations around "this will negatively impact my review", "this can be great for my review", Again, feels like college where students want to get straight A's.

Pros

The amazing people truly made the place here. So I would say the Coworkers, Benefits, and Offices were great.

Cons

The conflicting interests of multiple parties and sometimes navigating a lot of ambiguity about what was needed to perform well. Also being re-orged onto multiple teams many times within a few years can be stressful. The lack of consistency in terms of projects can be challenging with the shift in stakeholders all of the time
