      The worst toxic experience ever

      Pros

      Cool office in the center with barista and yummy food Nice colleagues Being able to work for well-known product which is awesome

      Cons

      Toxic leadership with favouritism and lack of clear vision Messy processes High workload with overtimes No promotions with no career lader and no explanations (just because your manager doesn't like you personally) Mislevelling you from the start of hiring process You work on smth completely opposite what was promised you during hiring Miro looks so beautiful and fun from outside but inside there is darkness and lack of empathy, they don't care about you at all and the layoff showed it.

      Hypocritical organization

      Pros

      Lunches, decent compensation on the NL level

      Cons

      With a lot of bureaucracy, it takes months to get something done. Production support is exhaustive. No salary improvements and rare internal promotions. A lot of micromanagement, your manager says to do "this way" but at the same time not following his own words. Since the last layoffs, there are no cultural events since we are now a cash machine company.

      Autonomy over your work and the ability to collaborate with smart, like-minded people makes working at Miro great! You can really find opportunities to work on projects that create impact.

      Cons

      The bias for action at Miro often leads to quick turnarounds and ideas that are not fully baked. Definitely offers chances to iterate and improve, but we might be better served focusing on doing 2 things really well vs 5 things that turn out average.
