Pros
Promise of future opportunities/rewards from the creation of this new company, part of a huge global company, NTT. Depending on which sector you work in (public/private) you may have a different experience. Also since most work is done on client premises, work environment can vary drastically, from good to deplorable.
Cons
Worst part is bench policy: if they cannot place you in a billable project, you have two weeks to find one or you are let go. All US NTT acquired companies are still siloed, Not taking advantage of overall company opportunities limits each silo. Limited career growth. Management does not have clear guidelines on job evaluation or appraisal and promotion/rewarding, leading to stagnation.
