Pros

- Lot of talk about the greatness of the company , people feel good about it - 6-7 buildings and well connected by cabs - Excellent cafeteria with world class facilities and mouth watering food - Laptops for all. Rare in other companies - Individual AC in each meeting room - Meeting rooms have no voice barrier , you can get knowledge from what is happening in the room next to you - 4X salary to developers from any sort of background who can write code :) - If you are unmarried and are looking for partner from IT , join here. Lot of couples from bottom to top. Encouraged by policy and supported by sr. Management. - If you are 10-20 yrs experience , managing deliveries, are not hands on, are a good accountant and can make people work over weekends, this company will welcome you as a director .

Cons

- Not a company for a person from IIT, DTU, REC , etc. - Will never let you focus on project at a senior role . Will give you enough work and keep your weekends busy - T&M people are billed to the client fully but are utilized for all sort of activities like COE , presales, hiring ,etc. - Architects can be PM but PM cannot be architect rule. - Old people fiefdom in most accounts - Poor in Senior level hiring.

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback about us here on Glassdoor. I am a little lost for words since I don't think there are any true pros about Nagarro in your review at all. Let me try to address some of the points in your feedback. Some points are absolutely right and fair of course - some of our meeting rooms in some building do have very poor noise isolation (not a pro). This is something we should correct. And yes, we do have a lot of couples employed within Nagarro - though not as a result of any specific policy. This is something that we are perfectly okay with. Other points are grey - we are not as bad as you think we are. With regards to executing fixed bid projects - I think we are not that bad. We do decently well most times, though as you said, we do have our challenges at times - but we are very good at learning from our own mistakes and we are much better at these projects than we used to be. I also think we are not that bad at hiring senior people either. We have hired some great colleagues at the senior levels - these people bring a lot of value into Nagarro including new thinking about how we should conduct our business. But there are other areas where I think your feedback is off-the-mark. For instance, you talk about lack of encouragement for people to focus on technology - the reality is anything but. We have dedicated career tracks for people with a technology focus to grow to very senior levels. That shows our focus on non-delivery oriented roles as well. I am not sure why you feel that at senior levels, the salaries stagnate or are not enough. The fact that we have some great people joining us and others continuing to stay with us shows that this is not the case. In any case, we are conducting a professional industry salary benchmark to make sure that we are where we think we are. Finally, everyone in Nagarro can choose to 'focus' on what they would like to do. All outside-project activities are voluntary and outside of project time. Not everyone takes part in them - and this doesn't affect them negatively. At the same time, there are always those people who would like to contribute more at an organizational level, and we will always provide avenues for such choices. BTW, we have less than 15 people on Director Delivery level. If one of them is handling less than 10 people, then there is probably a very good reason for it (such as this person being assigned on an account with a large future potential). It is very disappointing for me that even after being with us for over an year, we still haven't been able to show you what makes Nagarro great. I wish that you would give us a chance by taking another look at who we are - and if needed, come and talk to one or more of the senior management about your observations and feedback. I, myself, would be happy to take out the time to discuss this. In any case, thank you again for taking the time to write this review. I have taken some learning from it and already asked for them to be applied towards improving who we are.

Pros

None except you have the ability to work as a slave then only you can survive in this company.

Cons

Manas founded this company and then sold off to Allgeier for fund raising, all old employees got promoted as VP/AVP/Director here who are good in licking and know that they have zero market value outside of this company. They talk about DNA of Nagarro and its culture, in fact they share rumors, fictions in the meetings and blame their failures on new joinees such as Associate Manager, Sr Manager, and above etc. Stay away from this company as long as you want good health and prosperity.

First of all, thank you for taking the time to provide feedback. All feedback matters to us even if it may be unfair feedback. The biggest takeaway is that you, someone in a leadership position, feel this way - indicating some failure on our part to provide you with the right information and experience at Nagarro. Factually: Manas alone did not found the company - there are other co-founders who are all part of the leadership at Nagarro. The company was not sold to Allgeier to raise any funds. Even after three years, Nagarro has not needed funds from its parent. Most people who are VPs today were VPs when the company was acquired by Allgeier. Also, out of 9, there are only 3 VPs who have been with Nagarro longer than 12 years. Considering that we are growing consistently, and doing well, the leadership in the company (VP/AVP/Directors) should be bringing at least some good. Nagarro does believe very strongly in our DNA and culture - and considers these two as key differentiators. This is not just talk too. If incoming managers are not able to reflect that culture and adopt that DNA, it is our fault - not theirs. We need to do better on-boarding and better selection. And we have to take action to improve on that aspect. That is our belief anyway - contrary to what you have experienced or concluded. If you truly have had the experience that you have described, then it is a big loss for us. Please allow us to show you more. I urge you to reach out to people like Manas and Vikram directly and discuss your concerns. They are very approachable. In any case, once again, I thank you for your time.

Pros

The salary is pretty god and you have very good hikes.

Cons

Either you will be stuck in project which has too much work or has very little work. Work life balance gets pretty bad.

Thank you for your review here on Glassdoor. I agree that there can always be better management of work as you are advising. But it is also the nature of the industry that sometimes you have projects which are more challenging than others. You should of course be able to balance your load over a period of time. Also, in my personal opinion, work-life balance is something that should be measured over longer periods instead of day-to-day work loads. On average, everyone in Nagarro gets enough time to balance life with work quite comfortably. If you think that is not happening for you then you should definitely discuss this with your project leadership or HR to get more insight into why your project may be going through such a high-intensity period (assuming it is). Once again, thank you for taking the time to leave a review.
