Pros

It is decent place to work at. They provide all required facilities and are quite employee oriented.

Cons

I have seen a lot of people quoting salary as good, trust me that should never be your criteria in rating a company and the kind of work it has been doing. Now lets move on to the things I didnt like. The quality of projects are below par. Code reviews are done once in a while and hence the code quality is extremely poor. They may not realise the worth of code review now, but when some critical functionality will fail badly in production, they will have to bear with the negligence. I did not find real good coders out there. Most of them are average. They have a section, called the Architecture group(do not recall exactly.), where they do comparative studies across platforms and suggest clients which one is better. C'mon, thats a sheer waste of talent. There are abundance of sources out there who are doing it and if you don't have access to it then start reading Quora or any technical blogs. This group is headed by a stubborn and over the top guy who rarely listens your ideas. But what he does really nicely is to boast about his skills and his knowledge. C'mon you fool. Haven't you heard the famous saying, "With knowledge, comes Humility". Start treating the folks like a leader and respect your colleagues. Beware, folks. If you are put into Arch dept, your 3-4 months are ruined, till the time you are put up in a project. For new joiners, its a decent place to work at. But for laterals, strive for something better. This is not the place you will do justice to your skills.

Dear ex-colleague, Thanks for your feedback. Some of it I can understand and some I find surprising, but all of it is valuable to hear because that is what you experienced and in the end it is the experience that matters. I will not comment on your criticism of a particular person in the Architecture Group, just that it seems unfair. But you will be glad to know the Arch Group is being re-organized into a number of COEs, making room for a lot of new leadership to supplement the folks we already have. We are excitedly chasing a number of new areas there. The surprising part of your review was about the quality of projects and deliverables. My view is that we are successfully doing a lot of "rocket science" work. We can't talk about most of it but we can talk about some projects like this one: http://bit.ly/1JkL74U. And there's a LOT more. Finally, I'm glad you found the company employee-oriented. In our business, our only assets are our employees. I am convinced that if we can attract and select the right people and give them a lot of freedom and room to run, we will do well. Thanks again. Hope you find us worth re-joining in the coming years :-) Best regards, Manas

Pros

yearly movie. none major, bad food quality, hr team does not do anything

Cons

member of management team can work in many companies but others can work only in this company. No part time allowed on Weekends too and many a times we have to come to office in weekends too. We must be allowed to work in multiple companies.

Let me thank you first, for taking the time to leave this review. It is unfortunate that even after being with us for over an year, you don't have insight into what makes Nagarro great - a failure on our part. There are so many things that we are doing as a company to get better all the time. Having said that, I also feel that the review is a tad unfair. For starters, the employee satisfaction team does so much more than just an annual movie (as you mentioned). For instance, food quality is a highly subjective issue, but to address feedback such as yours, the employee satisfaction team has hired a professional chef whose job is to conduct regular third-party audits of all the food vendors at Nagarro's premises - checking for not only quality and hygiene, but also flavors. But this is just one of the many things done to keep a positive environment in the workplace. With regards to be allowed to work multiple jobs, it doesn't really work that way. Seeing how customer-centric we are, we expect that all of us are totally committed to solving our customers' problems. If we work on something else at the same time as working at Nagarro, then we won't be able to do justice to our commitment. There is no policy which says that members of management team can work with multiple companies. The employment contract that I have with Nagarro (I am a VP) explicitly prohibits me from doing so. I feel bad that we have not been able to show you the better side of Nagarro over your time here with us. I would certainly like the chance to correct that now, and will be more than happy to meet you in person if you would allow that. If yes, then please talk to HR and they will connect you with me. Once again, I thank you for taking the time to leave a review here.

Pros

1. A lot of work; hence, one can learn exponentially. 2. Company-wide HR policies are sound. 3. Salary breakups are very transparent. 4. A lot of work around GenAI (at least at the proposal stage)

Cons

1. The management I worked under was terrible and confused. 2. There was no proper work segmentation. 3. In most scenarios, resources are overworked. The managers compress timelines and deploy fewer resources to fit the client's expectations, resulting in a soup during implementation. 4. The Touch HRs are useless and do not care about the resources' well-being. They never tried to understand a staff's problems and only blindly advocated for the Senior Management. 5. Staff who have been with the company for more than 10 years are untouchables, although they might be extremely incapable and unable to manage the work expectations.
