Pros

Remote working is the only good thing

Cons

The company culture is very toxic 80% indians and very biased towards them project placements are mostly for them and your opinion is not valued Looks like a good company but the culture is really bad for your mental health Have worked in 3 companies and this is the worst I ever came across

Pros

None. Even the swag was cheap.

Cons

Issues with the training at Nagarro in NYC. On the first day, one of the trainers stated that they did not want to train us. Not for 6 weeks. Not for 4 weeks. So why are they a trainer? The trainers did not seem to take the training seriously. They gave us the links (Knowledge Base, ticket entry, and tools needed to reset passwords), then had us guess as to how to do everything. When we asked for help, there was always a reply of “Where do you think you should go?” Didn’t inspire confidence. The trainers were constantly distracted, rarely showed up on time, and had to do other training while training us. They were hauled away for meetings, floor coaching, and got distracted by people coming in. I call that ADHD training. “Look! Squirrel!” They had no respect or understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of the trainees. They constantly berated them. When another worker had the same last name as one of the other trainees, they asked that trainee if they were related. Even after the trainee said unequivocally that they were not related, they still pushed the issue. The trainers admitted that they got only a few days of training and had limited experience on the floor as an agent and team lead. That is not sufficient experience, in my opinion, for one to be a trainer. One said she had 9 weeks of time on the floor, with two weeks lost due to a COVID infection. They caused my PTSD from my past to kick in with their adolescent attitudes. I am not able to make a determination if it was just the two trainers’ attitudes that reflect how the other workers and team leads at Nagarro behave, but I can tell you one thing, it seemed to be a hostile work environment. They also appear to have a very high turnover. One day when we had to get fingerprinted for floor access, I noticed about 10 people getting new laptops and headsets in order to go into training. Recommendation is that any IT temp agency terminate their agreement to work with Nagarro because it is not a good start for somebody getting into IT for the first time. I would say that the DOE should do the same, but who is to say that they would get a better help desk group? Determination: Hostile Work Environment. Do not recommend seeking employment there.

Pros

Summers are slow and a bit relaxed Get to wfh some days but depends on your team

Cons

Most team leads are useless. They either make you feel bad about asking a question or just straight up don't know the answer but still make you feel like garbage. Also getting them to get on a supervisor call is like pulling teeth. Team leads do not like to take responsibility and will always blame the agent. Even though the people we are assisting are in a sense colleagues, a lot of them will berate you and scream to speak to a manager when they don't get what they want. They don't understand that you're just the person on the phone and you don't get to make the rules.
