Pros

1. Work will feel challenging to you, which is actually not. People with two year experience are TL there, You can get to work on any technology at any time(Sudden jumps from .NET to I-Pad). Summary is you can get to work on many technologies but only if you are lucky. 2. Its good for fresher because they offer better appraisals in few starting years compared to other companies. If you are performing good you can even get 50% inc.

Cons

1. False CTC - There are many factors mentioned in your CTC that you may never get. a) Gratuity. b) PL. c) Mediclaim. d) LTA. e) Bonus is never paid in full and is paid after one year, you will always be told that its on basis of your performance. So If you are told by someone that Nagarro pay higher than other companies, then be aware its wrong, CTC is structured in way that you can never get full of your CTC. 2. No Transparency : There are no transparent process to judge someone's performance. Personal opinion of your manager and your resourcing head is what will decide your performance. 3. False promotion: CTC and promotions are two factors that attract people to join and stay with Nagarro. Nagarro has a lot of false designations that are not found anywhere in industry. These are offered every year to employees to make them feel that they are growing. 4. False Designations: What your designation is, does not really matters. People with 2 year exp are working as TL, people with 5-6 year exp are working as Senior Software Engineer. This brings down the quality as well as moral of people. There is no relation in your experience and your designation, its just about what your resourcing head feel you should be(and actually the need of project). 5. Inexperienced Managers: Nagarro is a service based organization and cutting cost is really important to them like any other company, but Nagarro does it at the cost of quality and people's career. Most of the managers are those people who have been working with Nagarro from quite sometime and don't have enough experience. 6. Bad work culture : "There is no work-life balance". Everybody know that Nagarro is a company for workaholics. People who started with Nagarro never realize this and they get comfortable working 50 hours a week very easily. You will always have to take some share of your work to home. Taking leave is really difficult, Managers give stupid excuses for not approving your leaves(like other team member of your team has already got his leaves approved so I can't approve yours). Working sat-sun is quite common. 7. Nobody listen: If any point of time you feel that you have a concern and you should raise it, you can do that but nobody will care about that. Senior management is open just to listen not to act. 8. No new work coming on their way: In last few years No big project has been started in Nagarro, 2-3 months project are coming though. In recent times they fired a few employees working on older technologies like C++, and more than 30 employees left as a large project went down. so they are not growing anymore.

Pros

Company for brightest mind as the company logo says. Good Salary for experience [Always negotiate for inhand salary as its comes less with almost 10% variable], Lots of good technical work, Very good increments, Very good learning opportunities, Many development projects with some big clients. Project switching is easy. HR policies are good, Transportation facilities are excellent. Free snacks and dinner.

Cons

Limited onsite warranty. Workload too much, Limited worklife balance. 9-6 will be a dream in many projects. Often need to extend to finish up work. Lack of big projects. Limited process knowledge. Most projects are focussed on developing and deliver rather than follow software process.

Pros

None Really - You Could say that they have a higher CTC - but that's about it - The CTC is higher on paper , you will get much lesser in hand. Case in point - I has a CTC of 5 and I was getting less in hand than my friend at Aricent who had a CTC of 4.0

Cons

1) Hire and fire culture - They recently hired around 120 people for sharepoint in 2 months and 6 months later - they fired around 80 of them 2) poor management 3) no work life balance 4) no new projects 5) poor quality work + Outdated Technologies 6) no process no documentation 7) no onsite or very less 8) no direct communication with client 9) NO Work life balance - I have come into work on Saturdays , Sundays and even on DIwali day - Last year I had 20 of my 22 leaves UNDERUTILIZED - simply because they don't approve leaves and if you take unplanned leave - you will have to come to work on both the weekend days - That's right - 2 weekend days for 1 weekday leave 10) Unrealistic Targets 11) Biggest mistake of my life is to have joined this company 12) No planned approach 13) Complete ass kissing and boot licking atmosphere 14) All the good people leave within 1-2 years .. The only people who are still here are those who are either incapable of moving anywhere else , or their CTCs are too over inflated for them to move anywhere else 15) Poor Infrastructure - Horrible Pantry & Canteen - You can see Rats and Cockroaches - The food is overpriced and tastes horrible
