Pros

- amazing place to have kids/enjoy work-life balance if you can put up with the bs, - friendly colleagues, good culture, - good software practices cultivated, - some of the tasks I carried out there were very interesting and I learnt a lot from them;

Cons

- the Process is God in this company, - expect to spend most of the time writing tests in a proprietary language, - my manager had almost thirty people under him, expect little to no contact, 1in90 meetings happened once a year and my impression is they happened to check this item off some checklist, (though accounting for so many people under him, my manager did really well, very relaxed, no micromanaging), - expect checking off upper management checklists and caring about pointless statistics, - I found a lot of my work too repetitive, - Huge (capital 'H') amount of domain knowledge necessary. Non-transferable, unless you want to jump to competition, - At the end of my time there the CI infrastructure was not performant/malfunctioning to the point of seriously slowing down development (and just being a pain overall) - Company motto used to be "Connecting People", but the message from the upper management was constantly: "Regaining/Maintaining the leadership in our domain!" It does feel like the vision died and now it's about money and being better than competition which is just sad.

Pros

WLB is usually good. Leadership is taking some measures in terms of people policies that cater to needs outside of salaries. 3months of paternity leave for eg. is pretty good. Leave policies are employee friendly.

Cons

Senior management lack the leadership qualities and seldom support the subordinates. No motivation from within the team, manager, which makes you complacent if you dont like fast paced environment. If you are talented, likely you'd be under utilized here. No proper process for new joiners. Lately the recruitment process is lackluster and management is desperate to get in people due to extremely high attrition A good bunch of talented people already left/leaving. Salary levels are not at par with market. Long term employees are not valued at all, yet managers boast of long term commitment. No efforts for retention, but ok to take people with lower experience at nearly 50% higher pay. Quality of work and WLB is going down since new joiners are scrambling with no proper skills to understand the large codebase, as a result of desperate hiring. Bad outlook even with such promising 5G market potential.

Pros

Pay was very good and enjoyed prior colleagues

Cons

They had shut down our department and moved those who survived the layoffs into unrelated departments. No career growth. Some employees were combative because management did not have clear path for collaboration. Position was very stressful due to leadership continually caught off guard.
