Pros

Some good people: Finns are proud, considerate people, who are eager to collaborate. Attempting openness in communication. Trying to have a flat structure. Quality and reputation of company (hardware). Nobody makes better quality phones.

Cons

-Constant restructuring. You can't accomplish anything if you keep moving the goalposts. -Political. Lots of people spending most of their time figuring out how to keep their jobs, rather than adding value. -Incredibly slow to adapt.

Pros

A lot of very profesional engineers and low level managers who came from Nokia and Siemens when the company was established make a good chance to learn from them.

Cons

Top level management as well as mid-level management are pretty unprofessional and unable to lead the company in a shaky world.

Pros

Salary and benefits was typically good, work / life balance was okay. If Nokia can get back to the point where it was in the early 2000's, it would once again be a great place to work. Nokia employees felt valued every day!

Cons

Changes in Nokia strategy has resulted in many many people losing their jobs, demoralization of those who remain, constantly stressful work environment, and people no longer feel valued as an employee. Additionally, workspace flexibility has been reduced significantly.
