Pros

It has a great culture, especially from the Nokia lineage. the company promotes people based on their performance, their eagerness to contribute to the organisation and their capabilities. NSN lays a lot of emphasis on learning and career councilling. The employee is free to choose the training courses he would like to attend to boost his domain knowledge/skills. At times, such trainings are also mandatory and therefore need to be taken on a mandatory basis. Pros

The opportunity to work for a global company and in particular as a former Nokia employee, an opportunity to be part of start up with 60,000 employees from day one.

Cons

Post jv, restructure and extreme competition placed management in a tough position where they had to reduce operating costs drastically to compete. This movement and lack of real comunication of company vision affected team performance and overall moral. At this point the biggest issue is lack of trust between employees and management.
