Pros

There are many great colleagues to work with. Recruiting does a good job identifying talent but the turnover is indicative of the picture once you join.

Cons

Lack of leadership and a defined mission from senior management. HR adopted a forced ranking system meaning no matter how hard or how good your department is someone is going to be the bottom. This is a financial gimmick to justify inadequate financial rewards and lower than benchmark contributions to the retirement plan. In a word, can be cheap if you are not in senior management or sales.

Pros

The ONLY pro to this job was that you are able to work from home.

Cons

This company is constantly trying to find ways to take away from their employees. From barely paying a living wage on regular transcription, then transitioning to voice recognition at half the pay, to taking away our decent health insurance and replacing it with a bare bones policy that covers NOTHING and costs 4x as much! I do NOT recommend anyone to work for this company! They sell you on all these wonderful opportunities, but you don't find out until later that they overhire grossly so there is not enough work available to allow you to hit your minimum lines. Of course they don't pay for waiting time -- you have to be available during your shift time whether there is work or not, but if you don't have enough work during your shift, you're expected to "flex" your hires to get your lines at other times. They promise a generous bonus program, but their expectations of quality are inhuman and their Quality Assurance is so nitpicky that it is impossible to earn the bonus.
